Video Team Scores 2 Urban Spice Awards

The top performers, studios and directors in the ethnic adult video market gathered at Platinum Live last night for the first annual Urban Spice Awards, celebrating outstanding achievement in black, Latin and Asian porn. For many in attendance last night, the show represented long-overdue recognition and respect.
"It was a poignant night," said Sean Michaels, who co-hosted the show with Olivia O'Lovely. "This is something that needed to be done long ago. When I came into the industry in 1986 - '87, there was a big issue with racism ... and there still is an issue with racism. But there is definitely more promise in this industry's future for ethnic performers and white performers. We all want to be recognized and appreciated. Why exile a huge part of the adult industry when it comes to certain awards shows? It's just really rude and disrespectful. This is a launching pad for many future ethnic events. People need to recognize the relevance of tonight. This is a $13-14 billion dollar industry and the urban community is such a big part of that. It's really just time to recognize us the right way."

The ceremony kicked off with a Hall of Fame induction honoring an esteemed group of XXX superstars. Fans and peers ripped into applause as Jeannie Pepper, Mr. Marcus, Julian St. Jox, Byron Long, Devlin Weed, and Michaels took the stage. Heather Hunter, Ray Victory, Vanessa Del Rio and Johnny Keyes were also inducted into the Hall of Fame, but could not attend.

The evening featured live performances by comedian Evan Lionel, the Punani Poets and J. Strokes. MIC XXL and Dysonn joined Tommy Gunn on stage to debut "(Put It) Right There," a hip-hop anthem recorded for Offset Entertainment's newest edition of Porn Icon. Brian Pumper later performed a track from his Phatty's Rhymes n Dimes series, signing off with a defiant "fuck you!" to the "haters."

Several performers compared the vibe in the room to a family reunion, with West Coast Productions at the head of the family tree. When WCP received a Lifetime Achievement Award, Mr. Marcus, Mandingo, Alexander Devoe and others joined national sales manager Vernel on stage to speak about the company's role in launching their careers and blazing the trail for black and interracial porn.

"Without West Coast there wouldn't be me," said DeVoe. "[Owner] James Alexander gave me creative rein to develop my stuff. I learned what worked and what didn't."

"If it weren't for West Coast a lot of us wouldn't be here," added Mandingo.

Black Market head James Melendy was happy to win the Best New Company trophy, noting that black and interracial product deserves more credit than it has received from the industry in the past.

"When something represents 35 percent of the industry, you can't overlook it," said Melendy. "Giana Taylor deserves a lot of credit for making this effort to get everybody together and give them the same respect that other companies get. Without Giana, it wouldn't have taken place."

Devoe also expressed his appreciation of Taylor's efforts.

"Giana worked really hard to bring everything together," he said. "There were a few snags, but everything flowed. People have been talking about doing something like this, but no one had taken the steps to make it happen. Giana started planning it three or four months ago. It was a lot of hard work and a lot of stress for her. I was just happy to see everyone here showing their support."

For Taylor, the event was just the beginning of an ongoing effort.

"It was very hectic, but I feel we had a great turnout and I'm so glad everyone came out and supported the movement," said Taylor. "I think next year it will be better. It was definitely a learning experience for me. I know I have to get a bigger venue and more staff! I just hope everybody enjoyed the show and come back next year. The first year is always the hardest."
Among those getting their freak on were Shorty Mac, Pinky, Cherokee, Jada Fire, Trina Michaels, Jessica Drake, Julia Ann, Trinity Post, Sophie Dee, Priya Ray, Karen Stagliano, Gianna, Jon Jon, Lee Bang, Tommy Gunn, Brad Armstrong, Ivan, Tony T, Juan Cuba, Grip Johnson, Sara Jay and Byron Long.

New Jenna Jameson video interview

From Pornstarbabylon.com

Jenna was recently in London and spoke with the U.K. website Showbiz Sky. First the site says she’s one of porn’s most notorious stars. What is so notorious about Jenna Jameson? She’s as boring as watching paint dry. She’s highly overrated and thinks she’s changed porn and has been such an asset to the porn world. She’s more an ass than an asset. She did nothing to help or change porn but had the right marketing team behind her to make her into a star.

Some of the highlights of the video are:

* She loves London and there is such a difference between London and the United States because she was shocked to see nudity on primetime television. She fits right in with London and feels liberated. She says it’s such a beautiful thing there that people look at her as more a celebrity than just a porn star. That here in the United States all people want to talk to her about is how she sold “her” company ClubJenna for $40 million dollars. That here in the U.S. it’s all about money. First, are you sure about the $40 million Jenna; and second, no that’s not all people ask you about. People ask you about porn. You were the so-called queen of porn. What do you expect people to talk to you about? Gardening?

* She says her new reality show will start shooting in a few weeks and will air sometime this summer and will air on VH1. She said years ago she would have a reality show on the A&E Channel. That never happened. I’ll believe this reality show will happen when it finally airs.

* She now for some reason won’t do nudity. She’s now suddenly turned into Mother Theresa. Traci Lords did nudity for a while when she started in mainstream Hollywood. But now Jenna thinks she’s too good for that and doesn’t need to? She was at a photo shoot recently and the photographer was shocked and offended that she wouldn’t go topless and says Kate Moss goes nude. Jenna fired back saying I’m not Kate Moss. You’ve got that right Jenna! I’m sure he was offended because his time was wasted when he was expecting one thing from Jenna and then shows up and she’s suddenly shy now. And I’m sure everything was explained and planned beforehand of what was expected of the photo shoot but then Jenna changed her mind the last second. She’ll be taking off her clothes when the casting couch dries up and there are no more Z list movies being offered to her.

* She feels for Britney Spears and can relate to her with all the struggles and the press around them. Britney and you too Jenna plan your days around which press to call and which paparazzi to inform as to which store you’ll be shopping at and at what restaurant you’ll be eating at and when you’ll be showing up to whatever party and red carpet event is happening 24/7.

* People expect her to be dumb but when they meet her they’re surprised she has depth. Earth to Jenna. You are dumb. And I’m not the only one whose said it.

* Tito is the light of her life and has changed everything for her and he’s such an amazing man. I’m sure she also told husbands one and two the same things as well.

* Tito is the man she wants to have a baby with and she had to find the right man first. So husbands number one and two weren’t the right men to have babies with?

* Marriage is just a piece of paper that allows a man to take your money. Really? Is that why she is the one still dragging her divorce with her current husband Jay because she’s trying to take his money and what’s rightfully his? Without her current husband Jay Grdina and without his money, she would never have had ClubJenna or the money and success that she has now. Jay is not Kevin Federline. Half of everything Jenna has belongs to Jay.

Celtics Or Lakers - Vote Who Wins!

WALTHAM, Mass. - Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers says Tony Allen might not be back from an injury to guard Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant when the NBA finals begin Thursday night.

“It doesn’t look good,” Rivers said after practice on Monday. “He couldn’t get through even the walkthrough portion.”

Allen had some success against Bryant in the regular season, but the Celtics guard injured his Achilles tendon in a post-practice pickup game during the Eastern Conference finals and hasn’t played since.

Allen started the regular-season game against the Lakers in Boston on Dec. 30 — one of just 11 games he started this year — and helped hold the NBA MVP to 22 points on 6-for-25 shooting.

“He’s played good in two games against the Lakers,” Rivers said. “But if he’s not healthy, he’s not healthy.”

The Kim Kardashian Debate Rages On -- Is It Real Or Is It ButtPads?

We have talked about this before... if this is real it's just plain FAT. But if it's buttpads it is inspired and ballsy marketing that has paid off damn good...

From thesuperficial.com
The Kim Kardashian buttpad issue has resulted in tons of e-mail. One in particular is from a reader who allegedly works in the modeling industry and says that padded underwear is not uncommon. So, pretty much, we've all been drooling over foam panties. I, honestly, don't have a problem with that. Here's what Izzy has to say:

She's 5'3 with 39-40 inch hips, she's NOT fat, has a small waist and Huge curves specifically on her breast and butt. All natural? I don't think so. I do some modeling and I know side angles can do wonders for your butt but this girl has implants and I've seen many here in Miami. It's almost as common as getting your boobs done, they also sell padded underwear with silicone inserts who want to go even larger.
She wears fake lashes and heavy makeup, so she strikes me as the type of person who's very much into her physical appearance. So my honest opinion is that she's had work done to her top and bottom but in all fairness a lot of people get plastic surgery,if it makes them happy, go for it.

Reading between the lines and pulling from my own ass(!), Kim Kardashian's butt is more or less a philosophical issue. If you want it to be a sign of her girth, then peace be with you. If you want it to be the zenith of ass awesomeness, then peace be with you and, also, don't touch anything on my desk. In fact, here's some hand sanitizer. You go now.

Inside the Bush White House and Washington's Culture of Deception

White House Puzzled About Ex-Aide's Scathing Book

In this April 19, 2006 file photo, President Bush, right, walks with White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan, right, at the White House in Washington, after McClellan announced that he is stepping down as White House press secretary. Ron Edmonds

From Associated Press
May 28, 2008 5:19 PM EDT

WASHINGTON - Former White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan writes in a new memoir that President Bush relied on an aggressive "political propaganda campaign" instead of the truth to sell the Iraq war, and that the decision to invade pushed Bush's presidency "terribly off course.'

The Bush White House made "a decision to turn away from candor and honesty when those qualities were most needed" - a time when the nation was on the brink of war, McClellan writes in the book entitled "What Happened: Inside the Bush White House and Washington's Culture of Deception."

The way Bush managed the Iraq issue "almost guaranteed that the use of force would become the only feasible option."

"In the permanent campaign era, it was all about manipulating sources of public opinion to the president's advantage," McClellan writes.

White House aides seemed stunned by the scathing tone of the book, and Bush press secretary Dana Perino issued a statement that was highly critical of their former colleague.

"Scott, we now know, is disgruntled about his experience at the White House," she said. "For those of us who fully supported him, before, during and after he was press secretary, we are puzzled. It is sad - this is not the Scott we knew."

Perino said the reports on the book had been described to Bush, and that she did not expect him to comment. "He has more pressing matters than to spend time commenting on books by former staffers," she said.

The book provoked strong reactions from former staffers as well.

"For him to do this now strikes me as self-serving, disingenuous and unprofessional," Fran Townsend, former head of the White House-based counterterrorism office, told CNN.

Said former top aide Karl Rove, in an interview with Fox News Channel, "If he had these moral qualms, he should have spoken up about them. And frankly I don't remember him speaking up about these things. I don't remember a single word."

Richard Clarke, another former counterterrorism adviser who also came out with a book critical of administration policy, said he could understand McClellan's thinking, however. Clarke told CNN that he, too, was harshly criticized, saying that "I can show you the tire tracks."

McClellan called the Iraq war a "serious strategic blunder," a surprisingly harsh assessment from the man who was at that time the loyal public voice of the White House who had followed Bush to Washington from Texas.

"The Iraq war was not necessary," he concludes. "Waging an unnecessary war is a grave mistake."

McClellan admits that some of his own words from the podium in the White House briefing room turned out to be "badly misguided." But he says he was sincere at the time.

"When words I uttered, believing them to be true, were exposed as false, I was constrained by my duties and loyalty to the president and unable to comment," he said. "But I promised reporters and the public that I would someday tell the whole story of what I knew."

The former press secretary - the second of four so far in Bush's presidency - explained his dramatic shift from loyal defender to fierce critic as a difficult act of personal contrition, a way, he wrote, to learn from his mistakes, be true to his Christian faith and become a better person.

"I fell far short of living up to the kind of public servant I wanted to be," McClellan writes. He also blames the media whose questions he fielded, calling them "complicit enablers" in the White House campaign to manipulate public opinion toward the need for war.

McClellan said Bush loyalists will no doubt continue to think the administration's decisions have been correct and its unpopularity undeserved. "I've become genuinely convinced otherwise," he said.

The book is scheduled to go on sale June 1. Quotes from the book were first reported Tuesday night by the Web site Politico, which said it found McClellan's memoir on sale early at a bookstore.

McClellan draws a portrait of Bush as possessing "personal charm, wit and enormous political skill." He said Bush's record as Texas governor and "disarming personality" inspired him to follow him and that his administration early on possessed "seeds of greatness."

But, McClellan said, Bush's unwillingness to admit mistakes and belief in his own spin contributed to turning the president into "not quite the leader I once imagined him to be." He faults Bush for a "lack of inquisitiveness" and "a degree of self-deception that may be psychologically necessary to justify the tactics needed to win the political game."

Bush "convinces himself to believe what suits his needs at the moment," McClellan writes.

Max Hardcore Porn Trial Gets Under Way Today

You may not know this but most people who work in porn are totally nice and even kinda normal. Max is not one of us, his style is way out there. Not that I am throwing him under the bus, I knew him a long time ago liked him a lot then -- when he was not in character, that is. He claims that Max Hardcore is a character he plays to a willing audience who is of age and knows what they are getting when they get a Max movie. And we do have Free Speech in this country, I think...

From tbo.com:

With a security officer posted outside to check the identification of anyone who looked underage and a pounding soundtrack blaring through the sound system, a federal jury watched five graphic video montages this morning in the obscenity trial of a man who calls himself Max Hardcore.

"It's hard to believe that these innocent-looking girls will subject themselves to such vile perversions," boasts the Max Hardcore Web site, which depicts the defendant, whose real name is Paul Little, smiling broadly from beneath a white cowboy hat.

Little and his company, MaxWorld Entertainment, face five counts each of distributing obscene materials over the Internet and through the mail.

The prosecution, through witness James Fottress, a Justice Department investigator, played about 15 minutes of trailers this morning in which women are shown having numerous sex acts performed on them, including repeated acts with fists and various substances being sprayed on their faces and into various parts of their bodies. One trailer ends with the words, "Acting Lessons (Where Whores Play the Part of Toilets)."

Federal prosecutor Lisa Maria Freitas told jurors in her brief opening statement that the government was not seeking to attack the entire adult-entertainment industry. "We're here to present evidence, in the defendant's words, of extreme acts," she said.

Defense attorney H. Louis Sirkin, who represents MaxWorld, told jurors the videos in question were made using consenting adult actors and distributed by a company called Jaded Video, in which Little doesn't have an interest. The owner of the distribution company, Sirkin said, was given immunity and is expected to testify for the prosecution.

Attorneys for Little waived their opening statement until they begin presenting their case later in the trial.

Jurors are expected to begin viewing hours of graphic videos this afternoon.

Jurors will have to determine whether the videos violate obscenity standards of the Tampa area community.

From ABC News:

The question of what Tampa Bay area residents consider obscene is being argued before a Federal jury this week.

The jury must decide whether a producer’s pornographic films are acceptable – or unacceptable - to Bay area residents.

Paul F. Little is charged with five counts of using an online computer to sell obscene material and five counts of delivering it through the U.S. mail.

As part of their case, prosecutors plan to show jurors some 2 ½ hours of segments produced by Little, also known as Max Hardcore, and his company, Maxworld Entertainment Inc. of Altadena, California. Little, also known as Max Hardcore, has directed or acted in more than 100 movies.

Little’s lawyers say 2 ½ hours is not enough. They argue that in order for jurors to decide whether the films are obscene, they must see entire movies. This means they could be subjected to more than 8 hours of material produced by Little’s production company.

Little is on trial in Tampa because prosecutors purchased the material via his Website and had the videos sent to a Tampa Post Office box.

While not illegal, adult pornography can be prosecuted under what’s known as the Miller test, the result of a U.S. Supreme Court case from the early 1970’s.

Federal Judge Susan Bucklew has already dismissed several jurors who said they could not stomach seeing the movie clips that may include scenes involving men humiliating women, as well as vomiting, urination, and defecation.

If the jury rules in favor of the government, the films named in the indictment, profits from distribution, property used in production, Little’s home, and his Internet domain names would be forfeited.

New Chuck Palahniuk Book "Snuff" Based On The Metro Movie "The World's Biggest Gang Bang III: The Houston 620"

Susannah Breslin has reviewed the new Chuck Palahniuk's novel, Snuff, whose main character, she says, is based on the Metro Movie "The World's Biggest Gang Bang III: The Houston 620."

The full review of Chuck Palahniuk's new novel, Snuff, is up at Radar.

Susannah says,
Snuff was of special interest to me because I was on the set of a gang bang movie, specifically: "The World's Biggest Gang Bang III: The Houston 620." And it's clear upon reading the book that it's this very movie that Palahniuk used as his primary source.

One of the three main male characters who tells the story is Mr. 72, a young man who's under the impression that he's the given up at birth son of the gang bangee Cassie Wright. He's come to the gang bang to meet his mother, you see. And he's come bearing a bouquet of flowers for her.

I had forgotten until I read that bit that at the real gang bang, "The Houston 620," there was just such a person. I interviewed him. He was young, and small, and he had brought flowers for Houston. He presented them to her. Everyone cooed. Then he had sex with her. As I recall, he stuck the tip of his tongue out a bit as he did so, like a kid tackling a particularly difficult problem in math class.

So, I'd venture to guess Houston is the real Cassie Wright, Mr. 72 was that kid, and the opening scene about eating at a buffet at a gangbang was probably yanked from this scene from Evan Wright's "Scenes from My Life in Porn."

You can buy the movie here or watch it online here.

The 9 Most Beautiful Mexican Women According To Maxim Magazine

1. Jessica Alba

Little surprise here. Preggers or not, this Mexican-French-and-Danish bombshell is hotter than jalapeños doused in napalm. At least that´s what we´re led to believe after she raked in over 40 percent of your votes.

2. Salma Hayek

Her upcoming project has her voicing a dog in Beverly Hills Chihuahua, but here´s to hoping she´ll get back in front of the camera soon. Why? Her roles frequently have her yelling sternly in fluent Spanish. Feisty!

3. Ninel Conde

There´s never been a better reason to score a passport and learn Spanish than this local soap star. Well, besides the eminent recession and irritable bowel syndrome.

4. Eva Longoria

You´ve seen her on Desperate Housewives, courtside at Spurs games, and fixed atop Maxim´s Hot 100 for two consecutive years. Frustratingly, the only place you haven´t seen her is trying on bikinis in your living room.

5. Anahí

She is most known for her role in Rebelde, a Mexican…wait for it…that´s right, telenovela! The show, which starred her and the other members of the pop group RBD, relied heavily on English-language phrases for humor. Ay, caramba!

6. Paulina Rubio

Her nickname, the Golden Girl, might cue bitter visuals of Betty White. But you kids saw right past that and voted for her despite her perfectly bronzed skin, sexy moves, and totally non-raisin-like body.

7. Thalía

This multiple Latin Grammy and Latin Billboard Awards nominee is also known as the “Queen of Telenovelas.” Which is made more remarkable by the fact that every woman in Mexico has, at some point in her life, starred in a telenovela.

8. Mayrin Villanueva

It was at one time rumored that Mayrin would be the next Bond girl. That job has since gone to Ukrainian-model-turned-actress Olga Kurylenko, but we don´t know why they can´t share the role. Dos is company!

9. Marlene Favela

At five-foot-nine-inches, this gorgeous model has appeared in 14 telenovelas (Latin-American soap operas), placing her among the rarified air of, oh, let´s say Charo and the guy who dresses like a bee.

Hefner Never To Marry Holly Madison?

LOS ANGELES — Since she first laid eyes on the Playboy mogul in 2001, Hugh Hefner's "lead" girlfriend" Holly Madison has made it no secret that she wants to get hitched to the 82-year-old. But it seems the busty blonde is starting to give up on her dream.

“We are no closer to getting married than we were years ago,” a dejected Holly told Tarts at last week’s “Playmate of the Year” luncheon held at the iconic Mansion. “It’s like a car stalled at the side of the road.”

While the 28-year-old glamour girl may still be holding out for a miraculous jump-start, she found it difficult to deal with her boyfriend’s thoughts on the situation as she sadly turned away while he spoke.

“I love Holly very much and I think we’re going to be together the rest of my life,” Hef said. “But marriage isn’t part of my puzzle. It’s not a personal thing; I just haven’t had much luck with marriages.”

But not only is the men’s magazine mogul refusing to commit to just one woman, he’s refusing to give up his passion of perusing pictures of beautiful (yet bare) bodies.

“I have no plans to retire,” Hefner added. “It’s the perfect combination of work and play that keeps you young. If I quit work it would be the beginning of the end for me.”

Speaking of endings, could his other two “Girls Next Door,” Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson, also be getting ready to move on?

“My goal is to be hosting my own show and be happily married with children, so I’ve been thinking about that a lot lately,” Bridget said.

Kendra added that her future plans also involve motherhood and marriage while at the same time she aspires to build up her brand name, so with her own label Kdub clothing ready to launch, it seems she’s well on the way to independence.

Bill O'Reilly Snaps...Again

OJ Simpson Confession

LOS ANGELES — A memorabilia dealer who profited from O.J. Simpson for many years is the latest former crony to write a tell-all book, this one alleging a groggy Simpson, high on marijuana, confessed to killing his ex-wife after he was acquitted.

Mike Gilbert also claims he helped his former friend wiggle out of the murder charges by suggesting how to bloat his hands so they wouldn't fit the notorious bloody gloves.

Gilbert's book, "How I Helped O.J. Get Away With Murder: The Shocking Inside Story of Violence, Loyalty, Regret and Remorse" (Regnery Publishing, 232 pages, $27.95), is due in stores Monday. It was released to The Associated Press in advance.

He said Simpson had smoked pot, took a sleeping pill and was drinking beer when he confided at his Brentwood home weeks after his trial what happened the night of June 12, 1994. Simpson said he went to his ex-wife's condominium, but did not bring a knife with him. Simpson told him Nicole Brown Simpson had one in her hand when she opened the door.

In a soft mumble, Simpson told him: "If she hadn't opened that door with a knife in her hand ... she'd still be alive."

"Nothing more needed to be said," Gilbert writes. "O.J. had confessed to me. There's no doubt in my mind."

Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman were stabbed to death at the entrance to her condominium. The knife was never found.

Simpson's current lawyer Yale Galanter said none of Gilbert's claims are true and that Gilbert is "a delusional drug addict who needs money. He's fallen on very hard times. He is in trouble with the IRS."

"I've talked to O.J. about it," said Galanter, who refused to allow Simpson to comment directly because of his upcoming robbery trial in Las Vegas. "This stuff not only didn't occur but it's not factually supported by the evidence."

The name calling and accusations on both sides showed that deep wounds persist.

In a phone interview, Gilbert called Galanter "an ambulance chaser and an enabler and denier for O.J. I know. I used to do the same thing. I understand the game."

He acknowledged he has IRS problems which he says were caused by Simpson but said, "I could take a drug test and pass it. I highly doubt that O.J. could."

Gilbert is the second sports memorabilia dealer to write a Simpson book this year. Thomas Riccio, who arranged a Las Vegas memorabilia sale that led to Simpson's armed robbery arrest, penned "Busted" last month.

Simpson himself participated in the controversial book, "If I Did It," which he claimed was not a confession. It was withdrawn by the publisher and eventually released last year by the Goldman family to help satisfy a $33.5 million wrongful death judgment.

Gilbert said he continued to represent Simpson for another decade after the alleged confession, hawking items with his autograph, hiding the profits and helping Simpson shield his possessions so they could not be seized by the Goldman family.

Gilbert also claims that he counseled the jailed Simpson during his murder trial to stop taking his arthritis medicine so his hands would swell up and not fit the bloody gloves in court. He offers no proof Simpson followed his advice or that he was taking any medicine, but the drama that played out in court when the gloves didn't fit was central to Simpson's defense.

The prosecutors in Simpson's murder trial, Marcia Clark and Christopher Darden, could not immediately be reached for comment on Gilbert's claims.

Former Gilbert partner Bruce Fromong, who was involved in the Vegas incident, said Gilbert is known for spinning tall tales.

"Mike makes up a lot of great stories," said Fromong. "Mike Gilbert has a ton of skeletons in his closet. He's as dirty as anyone."

Gilbert said he broke with Simpson two years ago because he felt cheated, didn't approve of his lifestyle and was repulsed by "If I Did It." He writes that he was guided to do his own the book by dreams in which he saw the ghosts of his dead grandmother and of Nicole Brown Simpson.

He refers to himself in the book as a "Judas," and says he is betraying Simpson because he's ashamed of what he did and wants to soothe his conscience. He responded to Fromong's criticism by saying he's made mistakes and isn't trying to clean up his image with the book.

He writes that he was not alone in helping Simpson beat the murder charges, but "I hope to be the first to finally confess."

Gilbert said he funneled money from autograph signing appearances to Simpson under the table so the Goldman family could not get it. Gilbert said he paid Simpson 80 percent, kept 20 percent but had to pay taxes on the whole amount. He said Simpson repeatedly told him they'd settle up later.

But they never did and when pushed Simpson reminded him of the Goldman debt: "Hey, at least you don't owe $33.5 million."

"Yeah, I didn't kill anybody either," Gilbert replied. Simpson scowled.

He offers apologies to the dead Nicole Simpson, whom he said he never liked, and to the Goldman family.

"He offers an apology for money laundering?" said Goldman attorney David Cook. "I don't think we want the apology. I think we need the money. Send us a check, not an I'm sorry."

He said he plans to use the book as a treasure map to Simpson's hidden assets.

Gilbert, 53, was a childhood fan of Simpson who was thrilled when another client, football great Marcus Allen, introduced them and they began doing business together.

Gilbert wrote in his book that he was admitted to a world of privilege and he got caught up in a power trip in which he believed he was better than "ordinary people."

Gilbert blames himself and other Simpson friends for failing to act when they detected domestic violence in the Simpson marriage. But he says each time there was a fight between the couple or a call by Nicole to police it was dismissed as part of their obsession with each other or they pretended it didn't happen.

"O.J. mattered more," he said. "The fringe benefits that came with being one of O.J.'s friends mattered more _ or at least we thought they did."

Gilbert wrote the book for many reasons. It wasn't just to make money or hurt Simpson.

"Nothing can hurt O.J.," he said in an interview. "He doesn't have the emotions we have."

In a chapter on the Las Vegas case, he acknowledges that Simpson was in search of memorabilia he believed Gilbert stole from him, including the suit he wore the day he was acquitted.

"I never sold the suit, not even when I was dead broke," he writes. "At least that's something small to be proud of."

But Gilbert does acknowledge that he unsuccessfully tried to sell the suit at one point _ before he sold his book.

Help The Girl Of Your Dreams Get The Body Of Her Dreams!

MyFreeImplants.com Offers Free Breast Surgery

LOS ANGELES — The website MyFreeImplants.com is a service website that matches up women who want breast implants with people who want to pay for the surgeries.

According to the website, the idea for the website started in July 2005 when a dancer at a bachelor party said she wanted to get a boob job but couldn't afford it. One partygoer offered $5, another offered $10, another $20 and by the end of the evening the dancer had $750, 25 percent of the money she needed for the surgery. So came the idea for the MyFreeImplants.com site, four months later people from all over the world had contributed enough to pay for the surgery plus costs of the website.

The dancer, Natasha, is the model now featured on the website.

MyFreeImplants has become a social-networking site where women who want breast implant surgery can connect with men who want to help pay for it. "Benefactors" can make contributions to help women who post pictures (as revealing as they choose) and blog entries on their home pages.

The site has paid for more than 150 breast augmentations, and there are plans to ramp up to providing one free augmentation giveaway a month, and then one a week as membership of both candidates and benefactors increases.
